A knitting project

As luck would have it, my sewing progress has been stymied... arrrgh... but! Luckily I have a fun, completed project to share! This is a knitted baby blanket I made a few years ago for a friend's first baby. I am still proud of this one. I attached a piece of fleece to the back with french knots, to give it a little more structure.

I was so pleased with that project, that I'm working on a second one! I'm almost done with the knitting; this time I decided to incorporate the little girl's initials into three alternating blocks at the top, and I have done tester letters, and just have to finish it up! Then will begin the hard work of weaving in all those ends. Hard work indeed... but once you're that far, why not finish the thing?

Here are pictures of Little K's baby blanket. These pictures still make me happy...
